Privacy Policy
This page explains what LSI Resume (operated by English ABCD) collects, why, and what we do with it. Two products, two very different privacy postures: the free ATS analyzer never sees your resume; the paid rewrite service handles the data needed to deliver and revise your work.
At a glance
- The free analyzer at /analyzer runs entirely in your browser. Your resume file is parsed client-side and never sent to our servers. You can verify this in DevTools → Network.
- For the paid resume rewrite service, we collect what is needed to do the work: contact details, target-role context, and the materials you choose to share with us.
- We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
LSI Resume is a product of English ABCD ("we", "us", "our"). When this policy uses "the service" it refers to the LSI Resume website, the free analyzer, and the paid resume rewrite service we deliver. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
2. Free ATS analyzer
The analyzer runs in your browser. The PDF you select is parsed locally with pdf.js and analyzed with wink-nlp. The bytes of your resume never leave your device, and we do not receive, store, or have any way to read its contents. Anyone can confirm this by opening DevTools → Network during a scan: no upload request is made.
We do collect basic, aggregate usage information about the analyzer page (e.g. that a scan completed, which features were used). This information does not include your resume content and is not linked to an identified person.
3. Paid resume rewrite service
To deliver a written resume, we collect the information needed to do the work and contact you about it. This typically includes:
- Your name and email address.
- Your existing resume, work-history details, target role and industry, and any links you choose to share (LinkedIn, portfolio, job postings).
- Your messages, edits, and revision requests during the project.
- Billing information needed to process payment (handled by our payment processor — see Section 5).
We use this information only to deliver and revise the resume you ordered, support refunds and the ATS-pass guarantee, communicate about your order, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Retention. Project files (drafts, source materials, your final resume) are retained for 90 days after delivery to support revisions and the refund window. After 90 days we delete them on a routine basis, unless you ask us to keep them or unless we are required to retain records for tax or legal reasons. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a small set of strictly necessary cookies and similar storage to make the site work (for example, remembering your language preference).
For analytics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not use any client-side state to identify visitors. It gives us aggregate, anonymized traffic data — how many people visit, which pages, basic performance — without building a profile of you.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not participate in cross-site behavioral advertising.
5. Third-party services we rely on
We use a small number of third parties to operate the service. Each only receives the data needed for its role:
- Stripe — payment processor. Handles billing for the paid service. Card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored on our systems. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Email delivery provider. Sends transactional emails related to your order (receipts, draft delivery, revision notifications).
- Cloudflare Pages — hosts the website and serves all traffic. Cloudflare also provides the network and security layer (TLS, DDoS protection). Project files are stored within our Cloudflare-backed infrastructure for the duration described in Section 3.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — receives aggregate, cookieless traffic data as described in Section 4.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
6. International data transfers
Some of the service providers above may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect personal data when it is transferred internationally.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over the information we hold about you. These usually include:
- Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to fix data that is wrong or out of date.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Portability. Receive your data in a portable format.
- Objection / restriction. Object to or restrict certain processing.
For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
For California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You still have the right to know, the right to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.
8. Security
We use industry-standard administrative and technical measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) for all traffic to the service. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Children
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will let active customers know by email.
11. Contact
For privacy questions, data requests, or any of the rights listed in Section 7, please reach us at englishabcd.com/contact. Please mention "privacy" in your message so it gets routed to the right place.
